Professional guided hunts

We work with recognised and experienced outfitters and guides who will tailor a package to suit you. We offer free-range hunts for Himalayan Thar, Chamois and Red Deer. You can also hunt pigs, Canadian geese, rabbits and hares.

We offer the unique combination of accommodation for your group in comfort at Double Hill in the farm lodge with a professionally guided hunt using our helicopter from the adjacent helipad.

Recreational Hunting

Double Hill Station is in an ideal location for recreational hunting parties to be flown into and picked up from remote areas such as the Rakaia and Mathias headwaters, the Wilberforce, Rangitata, Harper and Avoca Rivers and tributaries. We are also only minutes away from West Coast hunting grounds.
